GET TO KNOW VANESSA

I’m a North Kingstown resident, a mom, a wife, and someone who cares deeply about this community. My decision to run didn’t come from politics, it came from paying attention, asking questions, and realizing how much more residents deserve to be informed and involved.

From 2010 to 2016, I served at Quonset with the 143rd Communications Unit of the Air National Guard. That experience taught me discipline, responsibility, and the importance of clear communication—values I carry with me today.

After my time in the Air National Guard, I worked in the financial industry as an advisor with Merrill Lynch, gaining experience in responsibility, organization, and attention to detail. Today, I manage my household and handle part-time bookkeeping work, giving me a practical understanding of budgeting, financial oversight, and the day-to-day realities many families face. 

I’m raising my family here in West Davisville, North Kingstown and my daughter attends Davisville Middle School. Like many of you, I’m invested in the future of our town because this is where we live, where we raise our kids, and where the decisions being made today will shape the years ahead.
